Silver Creek Capital Strengthens Investment Team with Addition of Jessica Hans

SEATTLE–()–Silver Creek Capital Management (“Silver Creek” or the “Firm”), an alternative investment boutique focused on developing unique investment solutions for institutional and sophisticated investors globally, announced that Jessica Hans has joined the Firm as a Managing Director. Most recently, Ms. Hans served as Investment Director at UC Investments, focusing on the endowments and retirement plans of the University of California. At Silver Creek, Ms. Hans will focus on investments across non-corporate debt and real assets as the Firm seeks to strategically grow its private credit and real assets portfolios. She will also serve as a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee and Real Assets Investment Committee.

Jessica’s significant expertise in alternative investment sourcing, due diligence and portfolio construction, coupled with her strong network of institutional relationships globally, will be invaluable to Silver Creek as we continue to expand our private credit and real assets capabilities,” said Eric Dillon, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Silver Creek. “To attract an executive of Jessica’s caliber to the Silver Creek team is a testament to the Firm and history we have built – grounded in collaboration, diversity of perspectives, and a prudent approach to investment management – over the last three decades. We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to Silver Creek as we seek to continue to develop tailored investment solutions that meet the needs of our global clientele.”

Ms. Hans added, “As an individual with a passion for supporting mission-driven institutions, joining Silver Creek – well-recognized for delivering high quality service not only to its investors but also to its community – was the ideal next step in my career. I look forward to working closely alongside the entire team to execute on opportunities across the credit and real assets spectrums that we believe have the highest potential for outperformance and low correlation to major markets.”

Ms. Hans brings nearly 20 years of investing, investment banking, and capital markets experience to Silver Creek. While at UC Investments, which managed $168 billion of assets as of September 30, 2022, she was a senior member of the investment team and managed investment portfolios across alternative asset classes, including private equity, real assets, and private credit. Earlier in her career, she held roles at The Blackstone Group, LP, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), LLC, and Bain & Company. Ms. Hans earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from Pomona College and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.

The addition of Ms. Hans follows the Firm’s recent promotion of Amy Wells to Chief Client Officer in January 2023. Ms. Wells has been a dedicated member of the Silver Creek team since 2006, serving as a Managing Director responsible for the Firm’s investor intake, client reporting, and technology processes.

Bob Ratliffe, President of Silver Creek, concluded: “Over the past 17 years, Amy has played an integral role in the growth and development of Silver Creek’s client services team to help ensure we continue to meet and exceed the evolving needs of our investors. As we start 2023, the ongoing expansion of our team as well as the promotion of Amy, someone who has demonstrated excellence in her field, underscore our commitment to continuing to strive to deliver best-in-breed solutions and results for investors well into the future.”
